Terri Mitchell

Mrs. Mitchell hails from the Golden State of California.  She is a graduate of Oakwood University, OU, (Oakwood College), where she earned a B.A. in Business Administration.  Mrs. Mitchell worked in private industry as an Administrative Assistant/Supervisor before transitioning to the field of education, a field which she “avoided like the plague” while attending Oakwood.

Mrs. Mitchell returned to Huntsville, Alabama in 2006 after reconnecting with and marrying an “old flame.” So after spending 15 years in the classroom, little did she know that God was calling her to a new adventure in education as the Registrar at OAA.

As the Registrar, Mrs. Mitchell has watched God use her professional, public and private life, along with her spiritual experiences to minister to the OAA community.  She’ll tell you, “Outside of raising my children, this is the next best job I’ve ever had.  I love knowing that God uses me to love and care for His people in this part of His vineyard.”
