Kai Madrid is the K-12 P.E. teacher this year at OAA. She is excited to start this year of fun! Teaching PE is not only her job, but it is her passion. She appreciates the opportunity to nourish and train the children of OAA to be amazing young men and women. Mrs. Madrid’s main desires are to push OAA’s students to be the best possible people they can be, and to help them connect to God.
Mrs. Madrid has been working in Adventist education for five years. This year is her third year teaching at Oakwood Adventist Academy. She has lived on the East Coast, the West Coast, the North and now the South. She grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Midwest City high school, then went to Southwestern Adventist University where she graduate and met her amazing husband, Gabriel Madrid. Together the couple has three beautiful children: Arielle, Gabriel, and Adoni’el, all of whom attend Oakwood Adventist Academy. Her children take up most of her free time, but some things Mrs. Madrid likes to do outside of school are crafting and exercising. Her main mission this year and every year she teachers is to instill confidence in her students. She always tries to teach with passion so that her students develop a desire to become the best persons they can be. She loves her students, family, and God. Mrs. Madrid is really looking forward to a great year together!
