Deneen Howard is a former principal/ Lead Teacher at Emma L. Minnis Junior Academy in South Central Conference. She is joined in marriage to Ted Howard and they have one son, Ted. She completed her Bachelor degree in Business Management at Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College) and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum & Instruction at Andrews University.
She has been an educator for 15 years and has taught grades K – 8. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with children. She is a visionary and is creative in implementing new ideas into her classroom curriculum to help students achieve optimal learning. She is a firm believer that every child should feel valued and accepted as part of the classroom family.
Mrs. Howard’s interests include writing, traveling, cooking, and fitness activities when possible.
Some important aspects of her life are making daily connections with Christ, family time and contributions to growth & development for school and curriculum improvement.
